Jacob Barnes
Hi! My name is Jacob Barnes! I'm a Photographer
But Why?
I picked up a camera when I was a Senior at Tivy High School doing short projects for my Audio/Video Production class. Now, I am currently working towards my Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree with a Major in Graphic Design, as well as a Minor in Photography, attending Schreiner Univeristy!
Background
I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii for my entire life up until I was 13. Life was nice living on the islands, but it was also small, and lacking opportunities. Family life was also poor, struggling with stability, giving me a strive for artistic creativity.
Fortunately, me & my siblings moved all the way up to Kerrville, Texas for Christmas of 2017, and I never looked back. While in Texas, I found my love for the arts, whether it be for crafting, painting, sketching, music, or even most of all, photography. Once I graduated from high school, and started attending college at Schreiner University, I bought my first camera: Panasonic Lumix G7:
Workflow
As a Graphic Design/Photography Student, I use & rely on many different software & program applications, most of which are Microsoft & Adobe Applications. However, I do also tend to delve into other applications to benefit me in an efficient environment.
