Autism is a complex developmental disability that can make social interactions and communication difficult. This developmental disability can bring stigmas, such as people assuming a child lacks discipline when in a social situation. I have learned to put my assumptions aside and adapt to my brother’s disability. It was through video games that we came to understand each other more.“The Boy in the Navy-Blue Hoodie” is a video game I am developing that will let the player experience the life of an individual living with autism and the difficulties associated with this disability.
